Friends, I want to thank you all for the generous help and support of the 15th Annual Rhubarb Jones March Across Georgia for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
From Tallapoosa to Covington to Ellijay to
Griffin and points in between over $124,000 has been raised in the fight to
find the cure of these catastrophic diseases.
I am deeply grateful to all of you who
contributed and supported the effort.
My special thanks goes to the entire staff
of the Georgia Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, to the
magnificent people of Wendy's and to Steve Carroll and to Scott and Jenny
from Cohutta Mountain Spring Water for being with us every step of the way.
My thanks go to the Law Offices of Gary Martin Hays for being so supportive.
I also want to thank the Hardy Winning
Dealerships of Dallas for providing the transportation for the 10th year in
a row. I am thankful to the many volunteers who contributed their time with
the blessings of their families. We were blessed to have had Ally
Sickeler's energy and drive to help us with this effort. I have the
opportunity of working for the greatest professionals in the business at
Eagle 106.7. My deepest appreciation goes to our general manager Victor
Sansone, operations manager Mark Richards,
program director
Steve Mitchell, promotions director Christy Ullman and her terrific staff, Sean Simmons AND the one and only Jessie
Jane! Jessie's determination and can do attitude helped us reach beyond our
expectations for the 2004 event. I also want to thank my morning show team
of Dallas McCade, Todd Veal, and Greg Talmadge for everything! As I said, I
work with the greatest in the biz! God bless all of you for the love. I
thank all of you for the support and the prayers.
