Hey
I thought from time to time, I'd share emails and letters from people.
Check out some of the pages below:

Just wanted to drop you a line and say how glad I am to see
you are still here on the air and tell you how much I enjoy
the changes that have been made to the station. I have
made it home from Iraq and Afganistan and other places I can't
mention and I'm very glad to know you are still here doing
your job so well. I have been in the military for ten
years all togehter and have called it quits. I am proud to
have served and only regret that my job placed me in these
wars which are so very terrible. I want to thank you all at
the station for being such unwavering supporters of our
service men and women that are fighting in all places known and
unknown. We are truely a blesseed nation and I am glad to
have fought for all the freedoms we enjoy. I'm now taking
on my role as husband and father, and father-to-be again!
I want you to know Rhubarb that I appreciate what you, and
all those at Eagle 106.7 do for our entertainment. You are
professional and family oriented and that's why my son can
listen to your station. There is too much filth in
everyday life wihtout having to expose him to it on radio like
some other stations. Programs and businesses and people like
you are why I fought and served in terrible places all
around this world. I've heard you thank the service men and
women many times for all that we do, so as a former Army
Ranger and combat veteran, I would to say thank you Rhubarb.
God bless you.

I must say that I have never in my life sent an email to a radio personality but in the past year, I have really come to know what a wonderful job you do and how the world is blessed to have people like you in it.  I cannot say that I have always been a listener but over the last year, I have enjoyed listening to you and Dallas.  Perhaps it is because in my mind we share somewhat of a bond, I have two little boys, one is two and one is the same age as Callie (born 5 days later) and I also was a patient of Dr. Nathan and heard you speak of him on the show.

A few months back as I was driving home, I was surfing the dial and stopped at that “other” radio station because I heard your voice and it surprised me. It was during their St. Jude telethon and after listening for a few minutes it made me realize how blessed I am to have two healthy children. My oldest is asthmatic and has been hospitalized twice but this is nothing compared to those at St Jude and the little angels that suffer with Leukemia or lymphoma that you speak about.  I was compelled to become a St Jude sponser because of you and hope my donation helps to make a difference.  I hope to see you on the road during your march across Georgia to bring some “pennies”

God Bless you in all your endeavors and thanks for making a difference in the world we live in.

Dear Rhubarb,

Just a quick note to thank you for still being on the air. When I left Atlanta
11 years ago to move to Augusta with my NOW EX HUSBAND, I was sooo sad to lose
your morning show. You always made me laugh in the "mad morning rush". Your
infectuous personality always made it a tad easier to get ready and drive to
work. When I would come back here to visit or on business, it was always nice
to hear your show.

It's good to hear your voice again everyday on a now permanent basis!

Keep up the great work!

Andrea

I clicked on your email to tell you something I have been wanting to tell you a long time.

I really think the world of you. I think you are one of the most sincere people I have ever met. You have a true love for people and it shows everywhere you go. I think you help make Atlanta a better place to live for everyone. I tell everyone I know that asks me about the jocks with the radio stations that Rhubarb is one of the best people I have ever met. You are a blessing to the Leukemia drives you  promote each year. It is hard work for you, but I respect you for it. I am just glad that I can be a small part of what you do.

Thank You! for being a part of our lives. God will bless for your goodness.

Sincerely
Wayne Hill

I got this one August 16, 2004.

Greetings Mr. Jones,
I tried getting back to see you Saturday night during the Charlie Daniels concert in Hiawassee. Instead I tried sending a note back to you by the gentleman who was working with Marty Stuart. I don't know if you got it or not.

I am not a big Country music listener or I would have sent this to you way before now, but I was reminded of it when I saw you Friday night.

You came to Chestnut Mountain (Gainesville) several years back and spoke at a my Son's Cub Scout dinner. As I am sure you always do, you encouraged the boys to always do their best and strive to succeed and to grow up with this type of virtue and morality.

My son (the one who was in Cub Scouts at the time) grew up with pretty good moral's (as a Father I think he did) and joined the Marines, as he wanted to be "The best he could be". He went to Iraq in March, was shot in April, and Healed through rest of month. In May he was back with his unit and doing ok. During that point in time we were able to talk via phone several times and the conversation came up about the time you came up and what you had said.

I truly believe that that in a small / big (only he knows) way it had a important influence on him to strive to do his best.

I believe that this happens a lot of performers, artist, actors, etc (such as yourself).
This is the reason I wanted to thank you so much for your inspiration to our youth and want to encourage you to keep it up (although I know you will anyway).

I wished more of our public figures would take the same stance as you and Charlie Daniels and other fine Americans who have this influence on our young people.

Again, as I shook your hand that night, take this as my "THANK YOU" for all you do.

Joey Johnston
